This clinic will introduce women to rifle, pistol, shotgun and muzzleloaders and will refine the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for selecting, owning and safely operating each type of firearm. Topics include learning about the parts and their operation, ammunition, gun safety and shooting fundamentals, complete with a live-fire exercise on the range.

The woman, whom police declined to name, struggled with a man trying to take her car shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
